摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gradient magnetic field power supply apparatus which shares power more stably than the prior art even with the occurrences of offsets in output currents and output voltages between output channels by leveling power which the respective phases of primary windings of a power supply transformer secure for the respective output channels, and a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, the gradient magnetic field power supply apparatus supplies currents to respective gradient magnetic field coils corresponding to respective spatial coordinate axis directions to form the gradient magnetic fields which change along the respective spatial coordinate axis directions in a static magnetic field space. The gradient magnetic field power supply apparatus includes the transformer which is configured to supply power supplied to the primary winding to a current output circuit by a plurality of secondary windings. The number of phases of the secondary windings is equal to or a multiple of the number of phases of the primary windings, and the secondary windings of the respective phases of the output channels corresponding to the respective spatial coordinate axis directions are wound around the primary windings of the respective phases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
