PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension construction capable of adjusting the ride quality and the height of a vehicle body mounted with a suspension using a coil spring. SOLUTION: This suspension construction for vehicles has a damper 41 and a coil spring inserted into the damper 41. The damper 41 has a cylinder 44 and a rod 45 inserted into the cylinder 44. By attaching an air spring unit 1 in place of the coil spring to the damper 41, the ride quality and the height of the vehicle can be adjusted in a vehicle body mounted with a suspension including coil springs. This air spring unit has a first receiving plate 2 gas- tightly attached to an outer periphery of the cylinder 44, a second receiving body 3 gas-tightly attached to an outer periphery of the rod 45, and bellows 4 of an industrial air spring interposed between the first receiving plate 2 and the second receiving plate 3. |
