CELLULOSE ACYLATE FILM, AND RETARDATION FILM, POLARIZING PLATE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acylate film suppressing color irregularity in a black display due to humidity changes or leakage of light caused in an outer circumference of a display unit after being left in an environment of high temperature and high humidity, when the film is adapted to a liquid crystal display, and further, the film having a high effect of UV absorption and reducing a bleed-out phenomenon.

SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate film contains cellulose acylate and a specified UV absorbent, wherein the content of the UV absorbent or a specified moiety possessed by the UV absorbent is 2.5 mass% or more and 10 mass% or less with respect to the cellulose acylate.
