<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately learn operational characteristics of a clutch of a twin clutch type automatic transmission during travel of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: While a vehicle travels by engaging a second clutch C2 and transmitting output torque Te of an engine E from a second input shaft 13 to an output shaft 14, operation characteristics of the first clutch C1, that is, the relation between a torque capacity and a position of a release bearing of the first clutch C1 can be learned by engaging a first clutch C1 which is not originally engaged with a predetermined torque capacity Tc1. When torque Te transmitted to the output shaft 14 from the engine E via the second clutch C2 and the second input shaft 13 is reduced by engagement of the first clutch C1 by a predetermined torque capacity Tc1, the generation of the torque reduction Tc1 in a motor generator MG reduces the reduction amount of torque transmitted to the output shaft 14 and can prevent shock from occurring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
