<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector including an electrochemical gas sensor, capable of acquiring at an early stage where gas concentration can be measured, after the application of power. <P>SOLUTION: The gas detector including an electrochemical gas sensor (hereafter, simply referred to as a "gas sensor") also includes an output correction mechanism having a function, wherein in a state where sensor output correction gas is introduced when starting the gas sensor, a sensor output value at an output correction object measurement time is predicted, by using some measuring time within a specific time range set as the output correction object measuring time, based on a sensor output value acquired actually by the gas sensor at each of two measurement times, selected within the specific time range in which the sensor output value is changed logarithmically with elapse of time; and the result is acquired as an output value for correction, and a sensor output acquired actually from the gas sensor at the output correction object measuring time is corrected, based on the output value for correction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
