<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode catheter in which the distal end of the catheter in an appropriate shape (posture) is firmly connected to a catheter tube, with little unevenness of the connection strength in each product. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode catheter includes a catheter tube 11, a control handle, a distal end connection member 12 and catheter distal ends 31-34. In the distal end, a connection member 12, a distal end holding part 122 in which holding holes 131-134 opening in the distal end face of a convex curved surface are formed along the axial direction and a cylindrical part 121 in which an inner hole 135 communicating with the holding hole is formed along the axial direction, are molded integrally. While a proximal end parts of catheter distal end parts 31-34 are fused with heat to a distal end holding part 122 of a distal end connection member 12 in a state inserted in 131-134 holding hole, a cylindrical part 121 of the distal end connection member 12 is fused with heat to the catheter tube 11 in a state inserted into an inner hole of the catheter tube 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
