PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can effectively realize the improvement of the interestingness of a game by using a step-up advance notification performance. SOLUTION: The game machine permits a first step-up advance notification performance and a second step-up advance notification performance which gradually announce the possibility that a jackpot will result by varying the advance notification performance one time or a plurality of times with predetermined timing following a predetermined order during one variable display to be carried out in the same period. The game machine varies the advance notification performance in the first step-up advance notification performance with prescribed variation timing and varies the advance notification performance in the second step-up advance notification performance with timing different from the variation timing in the first step-up advance notification performance. The game machine chooses any advance notification performance classification to which the advance notification performance belongs from among a plurality of kinds, and chooses the advance notification performance to be carried out from among advance notification performances included in the chosen classification of the advance notification performance.
