PURPOSE: A preventive diagnostic device for a railway vehicle power device is provided to execute the maintenance or exchange process of a power device when necessary. CONSTITUTION: A current sensing part(23) senses the current of a power device. A chip spec storage part(21) stores the internal resistance value of the power device and a thermal resistance value. A microcomputer(29) receives the sensed current value and the internal resistance value of the chip spec. The microcomputer calculates power consumption and determines whether temperature is changed in the power device by using the power consumption and thermal resistance value. A counter(25) counts the number of the temperature change frequency of the power device. |
