PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricating oil composition for internal combustion engines having low traction and, simultaneously, excellent wear resistance. SOLUTION: This lubricating oil composition for internal combustion engines comprises (A) a lubricating oil base oil having a kinetic viscosity at 100 deg.C of 2-7 mm2/s and a viscosity-pressure coefficient at 60 deg.C and 0.2 GPa of <=14.5 GPa-1 and (B) a viscosity index improver having a weight average molecular weight of <=180,000 in amounts which render the kinetic viscosity at 100 deg.C of the composition to 3.8-11.0 mm2/s. |
