The device has a fixation foot (3) whose end (3a) is traversed by a screw (4) screwed in a nut (5), where the nut is integrated with one of two sides of a body shell (2) of a motor vehicle. An enclosure (9) is provided with a locking unit i.e. lock (7), that locks the enclosure with the foot to prevent access to the screw. A protuberance (11) i.e. rib, formed on an inner face (9a) of the enclosure co-operates with a head (4a) of the screw and/or the end of the foot to prevent locking of the enclosure with the foot when the screw is not sufficiently screwed in the nut.
