PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the detection accuracy of the position of a shift finger. SOLUTION: A speed change device for executing the speed change by moving shift fingers 57, 56 in the select direction and the shift direction, and pressing column parts 41a-41d in the shift direction to selectively moving a shift flag in the shift direction includes a select-direction stopper for regulating the movement of the shift finger 57 in the select direction, and a first shift direction stopper 91 for regulating the movement of the shift finger 57 in the shift direction at the select position at which the movement is regulated by the select-direction stopper. The reference position of a first sensor is corrected based on the select position of the shift finger 57 detected by the first sensor while the movement is regulated by the select-direction stopper, and the reference position of a second sensor is corrected based on the shift position of the shift finger 57 detected by the second sensor while the movement is regulated by the first shift-direction stopper 91.
