<p>A moulded unit provides two frusto-conical cups (1 and 2 ) shaped to be fitted together so that a tablet to be crushed can be placed between their circular bases (10). The rims (3) of the cups are connected to one another by a flexible strip member (4). When the two cups are displaced laterally from one another, as shown, one of the cups is inverted with respect to the other cup. This facilitates usage of the cups and ensures that they can be compactly stacked for transportation. Unobstructed fitting together of the two cups of the unit may be assisted by the positioning of a transverse hinging axis (7) or a line of weakness on the member so that the point on the member about which it is most easily flexed, is nearer one cup than the other cup. Scalloping (9) of the sidewalls of the cups may also be used to enable one cup to be inserted more easily into the other cup.</p> |
