摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistive oxygen sensor element including an oxygen partial pressure detection unit for achieving a decrease in response time in resistive oxygen sensor elements used for measuring an air-fuel ratio of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The resistive oxygen sensor element used for measuring an air-fuel ratio of an internal combustion engine includes a heat-resistant insulating substrate, a pair of electrodes formed at one main surface side of the insulating substrate, and an oxygen partial pressure detection film formed while abutting on the pair of electrodes at the main surface side. In the resistive oxygen sensor element, a porous sintered compact layer including an oxide particle having oxygen ion conductivity at 450-900°C and an oxide particle having electron conductivity at 450-900°C is used as the oxygen partial pressure detection film, thus reducing response time.
