PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a pickup to a target address specified by a user, even if the address is deviated from a CD standard held in an optical disk. SOLUTION: An optical disk reproducing device includes a control microcomputer 80 which, when determining that the present address obtained from a place to which the pickup 30 is now accessing is abnormal, makes a servo controller 50 generate a control signal to move by a prescribed amount the position to which a pickup 30 accesses, computes the target address using the present address obtained from the place to which the pickup 30 has moved by the control signal, and makes the servo controller 50 generate the control signal which moves the pickup 30 to the target address.
