PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan motor that enhances the connecting strength between a rotor and a shaft, and enables operation at high speed rotation. SOLUTION: In the fan motor 10, a rotor 20 having impellers 22 is provided, and the impellers 22 are rotated by rotating the rotor 20 to blow air. A shaft 25 serving a rotary shaft of the rotor 20 is provided, the shaft 25 has a head (26) protruding in the radial direction at a connecting part with the rotor 20, and by pinching the head (26) from both ends in the axial direction, the rotor 20 constitutes an axial direction separation blocking part, which blocks the separation between the shaft 25 and the rotor 20 in the axial direction.
