PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve connecting work efficiency, by making a continuous paper connecting device compact. SOLUTION: A paper position indicating member 10 can move to a position along a carrying passage 33 of paper and a position retreated from the carrying passage. A connecting work platform 2 is arranged in a position dislocated from the carrying passage. The paper position indicating member is integrated with a switching lever 9 for switching a fixing state of a connecting tape 120, and when the switching lever is displaced in a state of operating the fixing tool 8, the paper position indicating member moves to the position retreated from the carrying passage by interlocking with this displacement, and when the switching lever is displaced in a state of stopping operation of the fixing tool, the paper position indicating member moves to the position along the carrying passage by interlocking with the displacement.
