PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a constitution of a conventional air conditioner wherein it is difficult to prevent releasing of an odor substance attached to a humidity conditioning member to the external of the air conditioner, and further it is difficult to prevent degradation of humidity absorbing and humidifying performances due to clogging of small holes formed on the humidity conditioning member by dust or the odor substance. SOLUTION: This air conditioner includes: a body provided with an intake port 6 for taking the air, an exhaust port 8 for discharging the air, a ventilation passage section 3 communicating the intake port and the exhaust port, and a humidity conditioning section disposed on a position independent from the ventilation passage section for humidifying processing and dehumidifying processing; the humidity conditioning member holding a humidity absorbing material, disposed rotatably over the ventilation passage section and the humidity conditioning section, so that a region positioned on the ventilation passage section and a region positioned on the humidity conditioning section are moved by the rotation, and adsorbing or desorbing moisture at the humidity conditioning section to dehumidify or humidify the air taken at the ventilation passage section; and a cleaning section for cleaning the dust or odor substance attached to the humidity conditioning member.
