<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starter 1 improving the mountability to an engine side by allowing proper choice of the mounting position of an auxiliary electromagnetic switch 6 to a starter body and enhancing the arrangement flexibility of the auxiliary electromagnetic switch 6. <P>SOLUTION: The auxiliary electromagnetic switch 6 is fixed to a motor yoke or a switch yoke via a cover band 15. The cover band 15 is fixed, for instance, at a band portion 15a to the motor yoke by arranging the cylindrical band portion 15a around the outer periphery of the motor yoke, then connecting a bolt 18 into a screw hole formed in the band portion 15a and fastening the bolt 18 onto the outer peripheral face of the motor yoke. The auxiliary electromagnetic switch 6 is fixed to a mounting seat 15b via brackets 17 by arranging support leg pieces 17a of the brackets 17 joined to the outer periphery of a frame on the mounting seat 15b of the cover band 15 and fastening them through connection of bolts 16 and nuts 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
