PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a battery holder capable of preventing a flat type battery from coming off due to an impact at the time of falling-down or the like, capable of inserting and taking out easily the flat type battery, and highly reliable in electric contact. SOLUTION: The battery holder formed of one sheet of metal plate includes: a storage part 20 comprising an upper face 21, left and right side faces 22a, 22b, and an insertion regulating part 23; an insertion port 24; a push-out hole 25 provided by opening at least one part of a backface of the storage part 20; elastic deformation parts 32a, 32b extended from an insertion port 24 side of the upper face; a locking part 31 in tip portions of the elastic deformation parts 32a, 32b; and contact parts 41a, 41b formed by cutting one part of the face to be erected up. The locking part 31 is formed by cutting one part of a portion continuous to the elastic deformation parts 32a, 32b, to be erected up tongue-piece-likely at an angle less than 90°along a direction of a printed wiring board 81, in a backface side, using a front face side as a fulcrum.
