PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect in which direction motion is performed axially, and magnitude of the motion correctly by a simple processing. SOLUTION: The motion detection can be performed by: separating each three axial acceleration component data of acceleration which is detected by a three axial accelerations sensor 12 and applied to a motion detecting device 10 into a static component obtained by processing in low-pass filter treatment, and dynamic component obtained by excluding each static component from each acceleration component data; detecting in which axial direction the motion is performed based on a motion component showing a separated maximum value; and determining a magnitude of shaking depending upon whether shaking time is determining time or over, or whether a vector integrated value within the shaking time is a determining threshold value or over in such a way that a time, from a point that it exceeds a threshold value Thu showing an upper limit value of a predetermined range to a point that it becomes a value within the predetermined range after it becomes smaller than a threshold value Thd showing a lower limit value, or time from a point that it becomes smaller than the threshold value Thd to a point that it becomes a value within the predetermined range after it exceeds the threshold value Thu, is detected as the shaking time.
