PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard machine that limits the use of a portable device operated by an operator during driving when there are a plurality of portable devices which may be taken in and utilized by a plurality of drivers. SOLUTION: The onboard machine connected to the portable device in the vehicle through a wireless LAN registers a driver's facial image taken by a camera installed in a driver's sheet at the start of driving, achieves the operator's facial image taken by the built-in camera of the portable device from the portable device when it is operated, extracts characteristics between the driver's facial image and the operator's facial image for comparison, and limits the use of the portable device when the characteristics of both facial images are coincident and the vehicle is on driving.
