<p>Provided is a lens driving device wherein by making the magnetic force between a magnet and a magnetic plate imbalanced, a holder can be held in a position when the application of an electric current is stopped, and when the electric current is applied, the holder can be displaced smoothly in the optical axis direction of a lens, and also provided is a camera module. A magnetic plate (31) is disposed such that the center of the magnetic plate (31) approaches a kerf (63) from the center of a magnet (70) in planar view. In this case, the magnetic force generated between the magnetic plate (31) and the magnet (70) is biased toward the kerf (63). Therefore, the kerf (63) is pressed against a shaft (90) harder than a hole (62). As a result, the movement of a holder (60) when an electric current is applied to a coil (20) becomes smoother. When the application of the electric current to the coil (20) is stopped, the holder (70) is pressed against the shaft (90) by the magnetic force generated between the magnetic plate (31) and the magnet (70), and the holder (60) is held in that position.</p> |
