<p>Disclosed is a duplex sheet-fed printing press provided with a front surface printing unit (31) which comprises a first impression cylinder (32) capable of carrying a sheet (S) by rotating while holding the sheet, a first blanket cylinder (33) capable of transferring heat set ink onto the front surface of the sheet (S) while being in contact with the first impression cylinder (32), and a first inkjet head (35) capable of feeding the heat set ink to the first blanket cylinder (33); and a rear surface printing unit (41) which comprises a second impression cylinder (42) capable of carrying the sheet (S) by rotating while holding the sheet, a second blanket cylinder (43) capable of transferring heat set ink onto the rear surface of the sheet (S) while being in contact with the second impression cylinder (42), and a second inkjet head (45) capable feeding the heat set ink to the second blanket cylinder (43); wherein the first impression cylinder (32) is in direct contact with the second impression cylinder (42) so that a highly precise duplex printing becomes possible.</p>
