PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproofing construction method which exerts semipermanent waterproofing effect and, extremely simplified workability, and can reduce waste materials in unexpected maintenance, repair, and inspection to the minimum. SOLUTION: Sheet-metal building materials 1 with high durability, which are processed in a long U-shape, are laid on a roof surface, etc., insertion boards 4 fixed on the roof surface are inserted into the U-shaped sheet-metal building materials 1, and the three sheets are firmly processed by grooved seam at the top so as to prevent water from entering.
