<p>The disclosed flexible tube for fluid transport has excellent strength in the axial direction, and through a simple structure, can prevent deterioration or corrosion of a metal reinforcing layer arising from corrosive gas or the like contained in the fluid flowing within. A resin layer (5) is provided to the outer periphery of an interlocked tube (3). The resin layer (5) shields the fluid flowing within the interlocked tube (3). An internal-pressure-resistant reinforcing layer (7) is provided to the outer periphery of the resin layer (5). The internal-pressure-resistant reinforcing layer (7) is a layer that reinforces primarily against internal pressure, etc. of the fluid flowing within the interlocked tube (3). An axial-force reinforcing layer (9) is provided to the outer periphery of the internal-pressure-resistant reinforcing layer (7). The axial-force reinforcing layer (9) is a reinforcing layer primarily for suppressing the interlocked tube (3) from deforming in the axial direction of the flexible tube (1). The axial-force reinforcing layer (9) is formed from alternately winding two layers of reinforcing strips (15) with a long pitch. The reinforcing strips (15) are each configured from a metal strip (17) and a sulfur-blocking layer (19) or the like that covers the strip (17). The sulfur-blocking layer (19) is resin to which a microparticulate sulfide-trapping material has been added.</p> |
