<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an operation of switching the light output of an entire illumination light source from the maximum output to a zero output and switching the light output of a local illumination unit from the maximum output to a desired light control output. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination device includes a lighting fixture 1 and an operation unit 2 equipped with a light control switch 21. The lightening fixture 1 includes a local illumination unit 12, a whole illumination unit 13, and a control part 10. When an operation input for lowering the light output of the lightening fixture 1 is obtained from the light control switch 21, the control part 10 reduces the light output of the whole illumination unit 13 while keeping the maximum light output of the local illumination unit 12 if the light output of the whole illumination unit 13 is higher than a threshold output which is lower than the maximum output, and reduces the light output of at least the local illumination unit 12 if the light output of the whole illumination unit 13 is equal to or lower than the threshold output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
