<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-expansion type anchor support enabling implantation of an artificial heart valve with minimum invasion, in a catheter for transvascular implantation of an artificial heart valve. <P>SOLUTION: This invention aims at reducing patient's risk in the course of implantation. In order to achieve the object, the artificial heart valve to which the anchor support is mounted is temporarily stored in its folding state in a cartridge type unit 4 in the course of implantation. The cartridge type unit can be fixed to the proximal end of a guide system 1 having a flexible part 9 which can be guided through a trunk. Operating members 2, 3 advance through a hollow guide system, and the operating members can move part of the cartridge type unit part in the radial direction of a longitudinal axis and/or laterally to the proximal end side to continuously open an individual part of the anchor support and the related artificial heart valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
