PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately generate protected operation signals of a reactor by improving responsibility in a reactor power measuring device using an ion chamber for detectingγrays. SOLUTION: In a reactor power measuring device, a local power range monitor includes a delayedγ-ray correction circuit which computes a power-proportional component, the sum of components of promptγrays that are concurrent with nuclear fission reaction andγrays that appear in the decay time constant of 3 or fewer seconds, among output signals from the ion chamber in a period shorter than 100 ms and computes local power on the basis of the power-proportional component. Therefore, the protected operation signals of the reactor is accurately generated by improving responsibility in the reactor power measuring device using the ion chamber for detectingγrays.
