NUCLEAR REACTOR WELL GATE AND NUCLEAR REACTOR INSPECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology easily and speedily completing inspection of piping to submerged valves, or the submerged valves. SOLUTION: The nuclear reactor well gate is equipped with: an approximately disk-shaped partition 202 at near an outer edge of which two or more attaching holes are formed; an airtight sealing section (elastic packing 210) which is provided inside of the two or more attaching holes of the partition 202 and seals a gap between a contact surface; a duct 220 connected to the partition; and an air intake and exhaust system 228 intaking and exhausting air through the duct 220. The well gate is attached to a flange section 104 of a nuclear reactor pressure vessel 100 via two or more attaching holes to seal an opening 100a of the nuclear reactor pressure vessel 100 under a state of filling the nuclear reactor well 134 with water.
