PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mobile X-ray apparatus capable of optimally traveling while reducing burdens on an operator. SOLUTION: The mobile X-ray apparatus includes a dolly 6 with a pair of driving wheels 4. The mobile X-ray apparatus further includes: a handle 18 for movably operating the dolly 6; a force detection device 20 for detecting the volume of force applied to the handle 18; a drive control device 22 for controlling the torque of the driving wheels 4; and a traveling mode setting device 50 having a plurality of traveling modes in which the relations between the volume of force applied to the handle 18 and the torque controlled by the drive control device 22 are set.
