PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker unit capable of suppressing the disconnection defects of a lead. SOLUTION: The speaker unit includes: a diaphragm 10; a voice coil 20 which is fixed to the diaphragm 10; and the lead 21 which is connected to the voice coil 20 to energize the voice coil 20. The diaphragm 10 includes an annular fixing part which has the voice coil 20 fixed thereto, and an outer projection 16 which projects with respect to the fixing part at the side of a surface to which the voice coil 20 is fixed and extends along the fixing part. The outer projection 16 has a top 16a. On the outer projection 16, a recess 18 for which the top 16a is partially recessed is formed.
