PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire capable of further surely improving durability of a bead part, by restraining separation caused between a cord and a rubber material, when arranging a chafer of covering a chafer cord with the rubber material. SOLUTION: This heavy load tire 1 includes the chafer 60 and bead side rubber 70. The chafer cord 61 inclines at 0-45°to a virtual line RL along the tire circumferential direction. The bead side rubber 70 includes a contact area 71A contacting with a rim flange RF and a non-contact area 71B positioned outside in the tire radial direction more than the contact area 71A and not contacting with the rim flange RF. In the non-contact area 71B, a thickness C of the bead side rubber 70 positioned inside in the tire radial direction more than the outside end 60B of the chafer 60 is thicker than the thickness C of the bead side rubber 70 positioned on the outside end 60B of the chafer 60.
