<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller assembly having pockets allowing free attachment/detachment of rollers, and storing the rollers in a fall-off preventive manner, and to provide a roller bearing equipped therewith. <P>SOLUTION: One pocket 71 out of the plurality of pockets located in axial rows in a cage 3 is shaped so that the end of the cylindrical roller on the side of its axial annular portion 30 contacts an inner-periphery cylindrical raceway surface, and the cylindrical roller can be moved in the axial direction of the cylindrical roller from a first condition where the end of the cylindrical roller on the axially outward side is located at an interval from the inner-periphery cylindrical raceway surface into a second condition where the cylindrical roller is located at an interval from the cage 3, while remaining isolated from a portion located on the opposite side to the outer ring side in the radial direction beyond the pitch circle of the cylindrical roller in a pocket defined plane defined by a pair of columnar parts 31, 32 adjacent to each other in the peripheral direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
