<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous type memory and a memory system in which address information is not required to be supplied from the outside during non-synchronous operation of the synchronous type memory and the memory system performing non-synchronous operation after start from a power-down state. <P>SOLUTION: A synchronous type nonvolatile memory for performing non-synchronous data read-out operation in a prescribed period after start from a power-down state is previously provided with an address register constituted of nonvolatile memory elements in which the prescribed address information is stored, an address counter generating address information making the prescribed address information as reference and making a control signal supplied from the outside as a trigger during non-synchronous data read-out operation, and a switch part selecting an address counter instead of the external address terminal during non-synchronous data read-out operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
