A hand held device (e.g. a toy, 10) movable over the surface of a touch screen includes first contact member (21 or 22) arranged to be in contact with a surface of the touch screen in use and being conductively connected to a surface of the device that is held by the user and a second contact member (18) having an actuator ( e.g. a spring biased dome 14 switch) actuable to bring the second contact member into contact with the surface of the touch screen. An alternative device movable over the surface of a touch screen comprises multiple first contact members each arranged to be in contact with a surface of the touch screen in use at spaced locations on the surface of the touch screen, the first contact members being conductively connected to a surface of the device that is held by the user. |
