An attachment to a coin slot consists of a base platform 1 with an exit slot 6 for alignment to a machine's existing coin entry slot and a back plate 5 behind the slot 6. A runway or running platform 3 is also provided having side walls 4 on either side to hold coins stacked side by side on their edge, ready for insertion in rapid succession. The user may tap the coins with a finger to move the stack closer to the back plate and the furthest coin through the slot 6. The walls 4 may be parallel or may narrow towards the slot 6 so the coins are properly aligned. Different attachments with different widths between the walls 4 would be used with different coins. The walls 4 could also be replaced by rails (8, Figs 15-18). The attachment may be a retrofit device that can be fixed to existing slots and may particularly be used with coin 'pusher' type machines. |
