The method involves measuring a force (Cu) manually applied by a user on a mobile element e.g. backrest, of a seat by using a measurement unit (24) constituted of a force sensor and by using another measurement unit (25). An actuator of the seat is controlled for displacing the mobile element in a direction of the force manually applied by the user on the mobile element by using a setpoint calculation unit (28) and a voltage/current shaping unit (30). An independent claim is also included for a seat comprising an actuator. |
