PURPOSE: A method of controlling operation of a thawing device with steam is provided to reduce waiting time for steam by rapid generating of steam and increase lifespan of a thawing device by preventing damage due to overheating of a heater. CONSTITUTION: A method of controlling operation of a thawing device with steam is as follows. The thawing device comprises a body(1), a heater(2), a fluid path(3), a supply unit(9) and a control unit(8). The heater is installed in the body and supplies heat. The fluid path is wound on the outer surface of the heater. The fluid path heats water with the heater to generate steam. The supply unit supplies water to the fluid path. If the temperature of the heater measured by a sensor unit is below an operation start temperature, the control unit stops operation of the supply unit and blocks supply of water. |
