METHOD AND TERMINAL FOR TRANSMITTING DATA IN SENSOR NETWORK

PURPOSE: A data transmitting method in a sensor network and terminal thereof are provided to dynamically set a back off interval according to a data transmission situation of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A transmission processing unit(40) sets a back off interval if data is generated. The transmission processing unit attempts to transmit the data by using the set back off interval. If data transmission is succeeded, a first setting unit(20) maintains a setting variable of an interval length of a current back off. If the data is not generated for the preset time, a second setting unit(30) reduces a setting variable for the back off interval length. The transmission processing unit sets a collision probability and a back off interval by using a fixed collision probability threshold value.
