RUBBER COMPOSITION HAVING NEEDLE LIKE MAGNESIUM SULFATE FILLER

PURPOSE: A rubber composition is provided to ensure excellent non-slip property and safety and to prevent the generation of dust harmful to the human body. CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition comprises a crude rubber and needle-like magnesium sulfate filler. The needle-like magnesium sulfate is fibrous crystals of magnesium hydroxide sulfate hydrates having the shape in which the end thereof sharpens. The fibrous crystals have the fiber length of 0.1-400 micron. The needle-like magnesium sulfate filler is included in the amount of 1-150 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the crude rubber.
