CAM MECHANISM

FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: cam mechanism consists of cam with profiled slot, of pusher in form of spherical element and of its guides. The spherical element is installed in the profiled slot of the cam between guides and rolls along them. The slot is formed with two profiled equidistant surfaces spaced one from another at distance not less, than diametre of the spherical element. Each surface is formed with a generating curve corresponding to evolvent of circumference. Centre of circumference is located on rotation axis of the cam, while radius of circumference is equal to distance between axis of rotation of the cam and rectilinear trajectory of transfer of geometrical centre of the spherical element. ^ EFFECT: facilitation of moment on axis of cam maximal possible and not depending on angle of cam turn; raised efficiency and reduced weight and dimension characteristics. ^ 2 dwg
