PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating for woodworks that exhibits excellent hardness after curing and forms a smooth coating film. SOLUTION: A two-pack type coating for woodworks is used by mixing a coating base compound containing a polyol resin with a curing agent containing a polyisocyanate resin. The coating base compound contains 10-70 pts.mass of synthetic fibers based on 100 pts.mass of the polyol resin. The synthetic fibers are preferably one or more selected from vinylon fibers, polyamide-based synthetic fibers, polyester-based synthetic fibers, polyolefin-based synthetic fibers, rock wool, and glass wool.
