<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce interference in a base station. <P>SOLUTION: An interference reduction method is provided for a base station to reduce interference between at least one uplink unicast transmission from a mobile station and reception of at least one downlink broadcast transmission. The method includes the steps of: allocating at least one time period to the at least one downlink broadcast transmission; receiving information about the at least one downlink broadcast transmission decoded in a mobile station from the mobile station; and scheduling the at least one uplink unicast transmission in preparation for transmission by the mobile station such that the at least one uplink unicast transmission from the mobile station is not time coincident with the at least one downlink broadcast transmission being decoded by the mobile station. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
