PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steer-by-wire type steering device capable of adjusting a toe angle so as to substantially equalize cornering forces acting on inner/outer wheels when turning. SOLUTION: The steer-by-wire type steering device includes: a turning power transmission mechanism 18 for transmitting rotation of a turning motor 6 to a turning shaft 10; and a toe angle adjusting power transmission mechanism 30 for adjusting a toe angle by rotation of a toe angle adjusting motor 7. The steering device includes: a switching mechanism 17 which achieves turning by switching transmission paths of each of the motors 6, 7 when the motors 6, 7 fail; and a steering control means for giving command signals of a turning angle and the toe angle to each of the motors 6, 7.
