PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplitude limiting device which can achieve the amplitude limitation of input signals stably and with accuracy without complicating a configuration thereof, and which is loaded on an electronic device and limits the amplitude of signals to be an object of some kind of signal processing to be equal to or less than a specified threshold. SOLUTION: The amplitude limiting device includes: an amplitude limitation preparation signal generation means for generating amplitude limitation preparation signals which indicate a difference between the instantaneous value of high rate signals generated by converting input signals with a high rate and then imposing band limitations and a predetermined threshold and have a rate equal to that of the input signals; and a peak value cutting means for obtaining a difference between the input signals and the amplitude limitation preparation signals.
