PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the flexibility of test runs or test drives in a method of testing a vehicle or its partial system on a test bench or in a vehicle experiment, where interfaces to transmit force and torque are at least partially present in reality. SOLUTION: At least one further sub-system or one component which is not present in reality is simulated independently of the interfaces via a simulation program which is supplied with real, actual measured values and/or signals of a real part, wherein the output signals of a simulation model are fed to a control device of the real part for further processing.
