PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which can output suitable viewing display corresponding to an output destination of a video. SOLUTION: In a reception device 100, a receiver 101 and a communication unit 102 receive video content data including moving picture data. When a display processor 110 can output a video to a display unit 200 and a display unit 300, the display processor outputs a moving picture of the moving picture data included in the video content data to one of the display units 200 and 300, and also outputs display including an operating image for the acceptance of an operating input for the video content data to the other display unit. When the reception device 100 can output the video to only one of the display units 200 and 300, the reception device outputs the display including the moving picture and the operating image to the video-outputtable display unit.
