<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply or not to supply driving power to a controller which communicates with an external device even when a system is not started. <P>SOLUTION: The information processor includes: controllers 4, 110, 115 which communicate with the external device; an EC/KBC 116 which starts the system when a request is made from the external device while the system is not started; a power supply controller 125 which generates the driving power for driving the controllers and supplies the driving power to the controllers; an EC/KBC 116 which outputs a signal in response to operation of a keyboard 13 by a user; and an EC/KBC 116 which issues an instruction to supply or not to supply the driving power to the power supply controller 125 when a set signal is output from the EC/KBC 116 while the system is not started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
