PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to prevent the separation of a suction magnet by forming a step mounted on the suction magnet to a yoke fixed to a magnet. CONSTITUTION: A bearing assembly(10) supports a rotational shaft. A stator(20) includes a core arranged around a bearing assembly and a coil which is wound in the core. A rotor(30) consistently rotates with the rotational shaft corresponding to the stator. The rotor includes a yoke(36) and a magnet arranged in the inner side of a skirt portion of the yoke. A turntable is fixed to the rotary shaft which is protruded to the outside of the rotor.
