PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner capable of improving work efficiency by comparatively easily mounting a heat exchanger formed into the roughly-L-shape in a plane view, on a unit body without trouble. SOLUTION: A unit body 7 has an intake port 10 on its one side surface and a blowout port 12 on the other side surface, a heat exchanger assembly 18 formed into the roughly-L-shape in a plane view with a long section L and a short section S through a curved section R is housed in the unit body, and a blower 20 is disposed between the heat exchanger assembly and the blowout port so that the air outside of the unit body is sucked from the intake port, guided to the heat exchanger, and blown out into an air-conditioned room from the blowout port. The unit body includes a first supporting member 27 as a foamed molding having a recessed section 27a to which the end of the short section of the heat exchanger is inserted for supporting one end of the heat exchanger assembly, and a second supporting member 28 supporting the other end of the heat exchanger by inserting an end plate 22a disposed on the end of the long section of the heat exchanger.
